A genuine Oistoceras calcite ammonite fossil pebble from the Green Ammonite Beds at Stonebarrow, near Charmouth and Lyme Regis, Dorset. Its naturally rounded pebble form preserves the recognisable coiled shell in green-grey matrix, with calcite mineralisation enhancing the detail. The exact fossil shown is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity. SKU: P00072. A closer look inside a loose rock reveals small ammonites at Black Ven, Charmouth.
