A gastropod spotted at Pinhay Bay, Devon — from the beach discovery to careful preparation and the finished fossil. A crack through the block made it time to stop reducing it on the beach and bring it back for the workshop. This genuine Eocene sand shark tooth fossil, SKU FP9039, is from Beltinge (Herne Bay), Kent, UK, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The exact specimen is shown in the photographs, with a 1 cm scale cube included for reference.
