Within five minutes on the shore, our daughter found this beautiful fossil shark tooth. Look at that edge! A memorable discovery on our Barton-on-Sea fossil hunt. This rock is packed with fossils! Look closely at the crinoid stems and tiny circular pieces preserved in Clevedon’s Carboniferous rocks — traces of ancient marine animals related to modern sea lilies.
