A closer look at the shark fin spine identified in this slab during our Compton Bay fossil hunt on the Isle of Wight. Follow the finger along the preserved outline. Camarasaurus dinosaur fossil bone from the Hell Creek Formation, Harding County, South Dakota, USA, dating to approximately 66 million years ago. This Upper Cretaceous specimen is identified at genus level and is presented on a custom metal stand. The exact fossil shown is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity. SKU: UF3392.
